Yarrix G3500 3500-Watt Portable Generator

The Yarrix G3500 delivers 3500 running watts and 4200 starting watts from a 212cc engine, enough to carry a refrigerator, a sump pump, a furnace fan and a run of lights through an outage at the same time.

Electric start brings it up from the key; a recoil handle is fitted as backup. At 25 percent load the 15-litre tank runs for up to 11 hours, so it will hold overnight without a refill. The low-oil shutdown protects the engine if the level drops while you are asleep.

The panel carries two 120V 20A household outlets and one 120V 30A twist-lock, all covered by rubber flaps and protected by resettable breakers. Never run a generator indoors, in a garage or within 6 metres of an open window.
